What does off-market mean?

Off-market refers to properties not publicly advertised across the mainstream real estate marketing channels. They are instead typically marketed through an agency’s database.

If it’s off the market is it really for sale?

Yes. It’s a well-known real estate term that relates to properties that are for sale but are not advertised in the public domain.

How much does it cost to use Listing Loop?

It’s free! There are no costs associated with buying a property through Listing Loop or to receive support from an Agent Assist.

What is the role of an Agent Assist?

An Agent Assist is your personal go-to agent whose role is to provide you with general assistance through the Listing Loop dashboard. It is not the role of the Agent Assist to negotiate the purchase of your property. We believe this is the role of a traditional buyers agent. If you would like your Agent Assist to negotiate on your behalf, talk to them about becoming your buyers agent (this will most likely involve a fee directly paid to the agent).

How do I sign up to Listing Loop?

Typically an agent will personally invite you to join Listing Loop through an email invitation, SMS or by sharing their unique URL invitation link. When you accept, you will be linked to that agent, who will then become your personal Agent Assist.

I’ve received multiple invitations from agents. Who do I choose?

It’s completely up to you who you choose to be your personal Agent Assist. Select an agent that you feel best understands the area you are looking to buy and review their real estate experience.

Can I sign up to Listing Loop without an agent?

You sure can! Simply click on “I’m A Buyer” on our homepage and follow the user-friendly prompts. You will be asked to nominate an agent to be your Agent Assist. We’ll help you out by providing some suggestions on local agents in your area.

Can I change who my Agent Assist is?

Yes. You can change your Agent Assist at any time. Just contact us and we’ll assist you through the process.

When will I be notified of a matching property?

You will be notified immediately the property is entered into Listing Loop by the delivery method you selected in your profile (email or SMS). You may be able to speak to the selling agent while they’re still at the property for the listing meeting!

What do I do if I’m getting too many or too few matching properties?

Simply refine or broaden your property criteria in your profile. You will be able to see the number of matching properties in real time as you make these updates.

How will I be contacted after enquiring on a property?

You will be contacted by the method you selected in your profile (email or SMS).

I’m going on holiday and don’t want any alerts for matching properties. How do I stop them?

Simply change your status to “Inactive” in your profile. This button is located on the top righthand corner of your dashboard. You can change it back to “Active” at any time.

Why can’t I see more than one property photo in my dashboard?

Properties need to be unlocked in order to view them. To do this, simply click on the image of the lock. The listing agent will then be notified of your interest and you will be able to see all the details about the property.

Why is the agent contacting me when I unlock a property?

When you unlock a property, the listing agent will be notified of your interest. This allows them to connect with you, answer any questions you may have and provide additional information about the property.

Can I unlock multiple properties?

Yes. If there’s multiple properties that pique your interest, go for it. Unlock them all!

Can I choose how I want the agent to contact me?

You most certainly can. In your dashboard select your preference for either email, SMS or by phone.

What do I do if I want to search for properties in different suburbs?

You can enter up to 10 different suburbs in your profile to discover matching properties.

Can I select specific areas within a suburb for matching properties?

Currently this is not possible but you will be able to do this early 2019 along with many other customisable features. We will let you know when any new features go live.

Why can’t I see the properties for sale on Listing Loop without being signed in?

In order to view properties for sale on Listing Loop you must be a registered buyer with a nominated Agent Assist.

Why is there limited search functionality in my buyer dashboard?

Listing Loop is not a search platform, we’re a matching platform where we deliver the properties to you based on your selected criteria.

Does Listing Loop get involved in the transaction process between the buyer, Agent Assist and the selling agent?

No. Listing Loop does not get involved in the sale of a property. Think of us as the great connector that brings buyers together with agents.

Can I sell my property directly on Listing Loop?

No. Your property must be listed by a practicing licenced real estate agent.  

Are properties on Listing Loop advertised on other platforms?

Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren’t. It all depends on the marketing strategy that the agent has developed with their seller.

Can I list my property on other platforms if I’m already on Listing Loop?

Yes, you can list your property for sale on any other platform at the same time. Listing Loop will strengthen your existing marketing campaign.

What do you do with my personal information?

Can private sellers list their property with Listing Loop?

No, Listing Loop has been designed by agents for agents. If you become aware of any agents or listings that you believe are not registered, please email the details to compliance@listingloop.com.au

What is the role of an Agent Assist?

The role of an Agent Assist is to provide general assistance by email, SMS or phone. It is not the role of the Agent Assist to negotiate the purchase of a property as we believe this is the role of a traditional buyers agent.

What happens to my role as an Agent Assist if I move to another agency?

Your buyer will be assigned to another agent within your original agency. They will however be notified of your move and can elect to re-appoint you as their Agent Assist.

Can I receive training on how to use the Listing Loop platform?

When will I get paid my Agent Assist fee?

Listing Loop pays the Agent Assist’s agency within 14 days of receiving the advertising fee by the selling agent. Contact us if you are expecting payment from a property that has settled or if you have any other payment related questions.

Can I become an Agent Assist as an individual agent?

Of course, but you will require an ABN. We do however encourage you to talk to your principal. Only agencies can list properties on Listing Loop.

What happens if I introduce a buyer and they then select another Agent Assist?

The inviting agent will always receive 50 percent of the Agent Assist fee when their buyer purchases a property advertised on Listing Loop.

Do I have to pay anything to use Listing Loop as an agent?

No! We have no subscription fees, no agent profile fees, no premium service fees, no referral fees and no listing fees. In fact, the only payable fee is at settlement or 90 days after the successful sale of a property sold through our platform. This is a marketing cost which can be covered by Vendor Paid Marketing (VPA).

Do you offer a premium profile service where I can boost my profile?

No. We believe all agents should be treated equally. Listing Loop has been designed to maximise your personal profile with your photo, logo and brand colours prominent throughout the platform.

Can the properties I’ve sold off-market be promoted on Listing Loop for no cost?

Absolutely! Our goal is to give you recognition for all of your off-market sales. If you would like to upload your historical off-market sales, contact us.

How do I obtain Listing Loop brochures to give to my clients?

Contact us and we will send them out to you. You can even have the brochures customised to your own brand. We’re finalising our processes to have them delivered to you as fast as possible within two business days.

How do buyers get assigned to me?

You can personally invite your buyers by email, SMS or your own unique URL invitation link. You can share your unique URL invitation link via group communication or even include it in your weekly newsletter. When a buyer accepts your invitation they are automatically assigned to you.
